Is supriority complex the reason so many people become a fan of Manchester United. Read the information in the link and make up your own mind. I’m no expert or student of psychology but I’d love to hear from such (via the comments) to provide an expert judgement.
The arrogance of Manchester United is sometimes beyond belief! They are planning the Champions League victory parade ahead of the first leg semi final with Arsenal. OK they are dressing it up as a saftey issue…… but come on, this is arrogance at a new level
Prawn sandwich brigade. Maybe old news but deserves a mention following the lack of support for Man Utd at home v Spurs when loosing 2-0 and the booing of Berbatov by Man Utd fans for the poor penalty v Everton in the FA cup semi final.
Spurs are 2-0 up at Old Trafford and the place resembles a morgue. Man Utd fan went silent - no passion, no support, the fans just turn up expecting to be entertained. Enter Howard Webb and a dodgy penalty decision to get the crowd interested. Man Utd go on to win
Thanks to Everton beating Manchester United in the FA Cup Semi final the death of football will not occur! Man Utd got what they deserved by fielding an under strength team which was an insult to the FA Cup as a competition and to the fans that parted with their money at Wembley. This time Ben Foster’s Ipod could not prevent the Everton penalty shoot out win. Indeed one of the more famous Man Utd players was mainly to blame, Berbatov, with one of the worst penalties ever seen!
With the FA Cup Semi final with Everton pending, I thought I’d put up this poll. I’m not sure it is a hate man utd topic as such, but maybe it will provoke a few comments
The full list being: Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Edwin van der Sar and Steven Gerrard.
This is a plain case of bias. Please comment if you could name a player who has been over looked. In the meantime, lets hope Gerrard wins!
A quick note to regular visitors to this site. There have been no updates due to holidays and a bombardment of SPAM comments. Whilst on holiday we had some fun at the expense of a “Man Utd fan” in a continental bar, he had a Man Utd shirt on. He claimed to support them because “they are the best team” (sic). When questioned he had not been to any games. An individual with no loyalty to his home town or country and likely to swap his “support” when another team become the best. Well done to FC Porto who scared Man Utd in the Champions League Quarter finals (but alas did not win in the end). And it sounds like there is a new “wonder kid” to keep an eye on
Double goals conceeded v (Fulham 2 Man Utd 0), double sending off (Scholes and Rooney), double consecutive defeats in the premiership (Liverpool last weekend), double consecutive games with Man Utd having player(s) sent off. The ref this time being Phil Dowd. Here are some pictures for your double enjoyment…..
Wayne rooney hated them before the match, I guess even more so now. The familiar dodgy penalty to Man Utd could not stop Liverpool. The amazing stuff included a penalty to the opposition at Old Trafford and the ref having the balls to send a Manchester United player off!!! Alan Wiley was the ref, normally we keep a record of poor refs on here, this time we will add this reference to a ref in a positive light! :)
