Hate Man Utd

Ronaldo is off to Real Madrid. He’s now another name on the list of ex Mancs who were irratating like Cantona, Keane, Van Nistolroy etc.  Let us know which one you hated most from the list or your own “most hated”!!! In fact I may put a poll together soon!

 Let’s hope he comes back to cause Man Unt pain by diving and arrogantly pratting about over the ball to knock them out of the Champions League soon!!!!

Of course this will be biased…..

The pivotal moment was when Man Utd were 1-0 up on the day (2-0) on aggregate. Ronaldo dives and wins a free kick, John O’Shea pushes the end of the wall out of the way and Ronaldo scores a “wonder goal”. It’s all a cheat - but will you see an account of this in the press? I think not - please correct me if I’m wrong. At 1-0 down on the night Arsenal could have rallied and the result (especially with the home crowd still interested) could have been so different.

To cap it off I’m in the newsagents and I see a front page banner image on The Sun (I could be wrong to the newspaper as I cannot find it on their website, but it was one of the tabloids) of Ronaldo with arms out stretched (representing the Crucifixion) and the text “Cristiano Almighty” - an obvious reference to God or Jesus Christ status. This is just too bloody much! Religious heresy - comments please!!!!

I’m aware Man Utd fans feel aggrieved at the ref - but one player missing the final or all of them is the argument I’m putting up here.

As a foot note I read that an Arsenal fan took his own life after the match.

No not for winning games but driving without a valid licence and having windows which are too tinted. The maximum penalty for driving without a valid licence carries a £1,000 fine and six points. His car windows were tested and found to be too dark and as a consequence his car has been siezed. Ronaldo was also fined for having blacked-out windows in 2007. I’ve tried to stay out of the Ronaldo transfer saga as it is boring!!!! This slave thing is particularly annoying me, coming from someone earning £120,000 per week (Man Utd geeks tell me if this figure is not correct)  which is at least 4 or 5 times a normal working persons annual salary. I also assume he entered into his “slavery contract” of his own free will.

 I’m not sufficiently knowledgeable to comment on the racist implications of this slavery comment, maybe someone could make a comment on this to explain, either from a Manchester United fans or other teams (especially Real Madrid fans).

It is somewhat similar to the Rooney sending off incident, when on International duty, where Ronaldo winked at Rooney, which must have led to poor for team morale, which I assume was sorted behind closed doors.
