Tevez playing for Manchester City gets both goals to beat Man Utd 2-1 in the first leg of the League (Carling) Cup. The first resulting from a potentially dubious penalty, these things should even themselves out over the season, but are unlikely to in the case of Man Utd 
.
To add to the spice of the fixture the FA are going to investigate Gary Neville’s one finger salute to Tevez.

OK Man Utd 4 - 3 Man City and a late late goal…. covered elsewhere on this blog. However, while Craig Bellamy is in the headlines for slapping a fan who is  ”charged with going onto a playing area without lawful authority or excuse”, Gary Neville is branded a lunatic for his celebrations in front of the Man City fans. A very similar scenario which led to Emmanuel Adebayor missing the derby match for his celebtation of a goal in front of opposition fans (Arsenal). Also and very interestingly, we have unconfirmed stories from a Man City fan in the ground that Furguson hugged Alan Wiley in celebration of the “injury time” winner. We would love to hear from anyone who saw this or provide a link to photos / videos etc.
All the above, if confirmed (in the case of the later point), points to corruption and biased press / media, something we a Man Utd have been aware of, but proof is something else…… Comments please.

Man Utd 4-3 Man City with the winning goal scored in the 6th minute of added time. Even ex red and City Manager Mark Hughes was enraged and after all he knows the play til you win rules and on this occasion those rules must have been exceeded
