Is the title race already over?

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

If Man Utd were top of the table after 2 games with a goal difference of +12 and the other ”big four” teams dropping points, we’re sure everyone of those irratating manc would be claiming the title was already won and record goals in a season on the cards and win every match in the season etc. However Chelsea hold this position helped by Man Utd drawing with Fulham :) .

Fulham give Man Utd a Xmas stuffing!

3 - 0 on the weekend before Christmas.

Jingle bells, jingle bells jingle all way, oh what fun it is to see Man U lose away!

The bleating Man Utd fans are no doubt pointing to the injury hit defence (seven missing we think), well boo hoo. Welcome to the real world of teams who have not got huge squads to choose from.

Man Utd v Zenit St Petersburg in the meaningless Super Cup

Friday, August 29th, 2008

It’s Saturday, it’s 3 O’Clock and Man Utd have a fixture (v Fulham), unbelievable I know! Not any more it has been postponed, I assume to accommodate the “Super Cup”  v Zenit St Petersburg. This is a meaningless match. The winners of a big competition play the winners of a small competition. Historically it would have carried some interest, when only a few team played in the European and UEFA Cups.
