This means it is all square on points between Man Utd and Chelsea at the top of the table with one game to go of the 07/08 season. Man Utd have the benefit of goal difference. Chelsea play at home v Bolton next and Man Utd travel to Wigan next.
Well there will be no surprize which team this blog site is supporting!
I cannot help feeling that an all English final somehow devalues the competition. It doesn’t feel “European”. This stems back to 2 things. The money spinning side of the competition where several teams from the same country are allowed to enter (not like the good old days of “champions only”). And secondly Man Utd not doing the decent thing and loosing to Barcelona!
I would really like to see posts from fans of either Man Utd or Chelsea regarding any of the above or their views on travelling to Moscow to play a “domestic” fixture, issues with getting there (visa problems?) or the influence of the battle of the bridge on the fixture.
