Is the title race already over?

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

If Man Utd were top of the table after 2 games with a goal difference of +12 and the other ”big four” teams dropping points, we’re sure everyone of those irratating manc would be claiming the title was already won and record goals in a season on the cards and win every match in the season etc. However Chelsea hold this position helped by Man Utd drawing with Fulham :) .

Biased reporting of the PFA Shortlisting

Friday, April 16th, 2010

We are aware that the media is biased towards Man Utd but it is seldom this obvious! The BBC website has the following article entitled:

Man Utd striker Wayne Rooney shortlisted for PFA award

Further the article states:

“Rooney is joined on the four-man shortlist by Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Manchester City ace Carlos Tevez.”

Implying Rooney was first on the list and the others were added to make up the numbers?

I cannot see the equavent aticle headlined by “Fabregas of mighty Arsenal shortlisted to win PFA award” or similarly biased pieces toward a particular player or team on the same website. So there it is the BBC are closet reds.

Didier Drogba Chelsea 2009/10

Needs to prey to be in with a chance with the media already on the side on Man Utd.

Chelsea win 2-1 at Old Trafford

Saturday, April 3rd, 2010

:) The 2-1 win sends Chelsea top of the table replacing Man Utd. The United goal looked like it was handled over the line by Federico Macheda but that aside and the usual mystery 4 minutes of added time could not prevent the Chelsea win. Looks to have made Berbatovs day! Some pictures for your enjoyment….

Justice for Chelsea!

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

Chelsea player kung fu kicked in the ribs by a Manc player, reminiscent of that thug Cantana. The outcome, a booking for the Chelsea player :(  and not a penalty for Chelsea! A short time later Chelsea score to win the match 1-0 :) . The ref did his best by allowing 5 mins of injury time and again like the Liverpool fixture it wasn’t enough time - bizarre.

Man Utd get away with it twice

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

It won’t come as a surprise to people who hate Manchester United that Vidic putting his hand into the face of Wigan’s Rodallega, as refereed by Howard Webb or the Man Utd players surrounding referee Chris Foy versus Chelsea in the Community Shield are to go unpunished. :(

Great start to the new season

CHELSEA V MANCHESER UNITED

One piece of non-sense sorted already this season, thanks to Chelsea in the Charity Shield. The idiots who drempt up Man Utd could win “5 trophies” (which was a joke when including the Charity Shield) cannot happen this season. :)

Typical Man United Arrogance

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

The arrogance of Manchester United is sometimes beyond belief! They are planning the Champions League victory parade ahead of the first leg semi final with Arsenal. OK they are dressing it up as a saftey issue…… but come on, this is arrogance at a new level :(

Arsenal, Chelsea or Barca fans any comments????

The Death of Football is pending!

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Manchester United fans believe they are on for a sextuplet. Let me stress the point, they think they are on the verge of a 6 trophy haul, of the Charity Shield, World Club Championship, Carling Cup, FA Cup, Premiership and Champions League. Let’s nip this in the bud now!

 1. The Charity Shield must not count, how many teams fans can comment here when they have won 1 trophy (or more) in previous seasons and not declared a “double”, “treble” etc…. Please comment this is an important point if you hate Manchester United.

 2. The World Club Championship was a 6 horse race where Man Utd were entered at the last 4 stage. In principle it cannot count based on the quality of the opposition and the size of the tournament.

3. The Carling Cup (aka The League Cup) is a traditional part of the 4 trophies that would be included in the English League “Quadruple”. On this occasion Manchester United were let in at round earlier (ed - should read later) than some other Premiership teams. Akin to Formula 1 where the fastest car starts at the front of the race.

 4. The FA Cup. A tournament Manchester United have historically devalued by not participating in. I need say no more.

5. The Premiership. A straight race, should count. Come on Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Aston Villa and any other team involved in the race for top spot or playing Man United…

6. The Champions League. Again a straight race, should count. Come on Inter Milan and others.

The effect on football’s future generation(s) is pending. Kids will see Man United win all six (sic) trophies and conclude there is no other team worth supporting. The death of football is waiting…. Register your disapproval here.
