Hate Man Utd

On a sunny afternoon in England (for you supporters of Man Utd in far flung places that is the Country where Manchester is), we at hatemanutd did not watch the match, preferring the sunshine. Interestingly, a 3-1 win for Man Utd v Spurs was sealed with 2 penalties. Was this fair, no cheating??? At a key stage of the season when Spurs have recently beat Arsenal and Chelsea.

The BBC quote fends off any possibility…

 ”Spurs could have no complaints about the penalties awarded by referee Andre Marriner.”

Anyone see it differently…..?

Andre Marriner has fallen below our Ref detector so far, just thought we’d add him to the Categories section just in case he is not so squeaky clean (in the eyes of the BBC) in the future.

Stop crying!

Here at Hate Man Utd headquarters we did not watch the match. Was the added extra time in which the goal was scored justified? Let the debate begin….. Nice picture of the goal “celebration”

Complaining or striking a deal?

We are aware that the media is biased towards Man Utd but it is seldom this obvious! The BBC website has the following article entitled: 

“Man Utd striker Wayne Rooney shortlisted for PFA award“

Further the article states:

“Rooney is joined on the four-man shortlist by Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Manchester City ace Carlos Tevez.”

Implying Rooney was first on the list and the others were added to make up the numbers?

I cannot see the equavent aticle headlined by “Fabregas of mighty Arsenal shortlisted to win PFA award” or similarly biased pieces toward a particular player or team on the same website. So there it is the BBC are closet reds.

Needs to prey to be in with a chance with the media already on the side on Man Utd.

Yes it hurts when you know the result of the PFA is not going your way.

Drown your sorrows! At least you should know how this lot operates.

Man Utd win on the night 3-2 but go out on away goals (agg 4-4). The main talk before the match and hyped up on the TV commentary was the selection of Rooney in the starting line up after his recent injury. Heralded as a “Fergie master piece”. Hmmmmm, didn’t turn out that way when he limped off the pitch. Here are some pictures from the night…..

 Oh yeah, Fergie’s blast at “typical Germans” surrounding the ref to get Rafael sent off was a bit rich. Of course his players would never surround a ref to get a decission in their favour. And is the comment not racest anyway?

The 2-1 win sends Chelsea top of the table replacing Man Utd. The United goal looked like it was handled over the line by Federico Macheda but that aside and the usual mystery 4 minutes of added time could not prevent the Chelsea win. Looks to have made Berbatovs day! Some pictures for your enjoyment….
