Controversial goal at Birmingham
Sunday, January 10th, 2010Birmingham manager Alex McLeish thought the officials had eventually made the correct decision which led to the equaliser and the match finishing 1-1. Was he being diplomatic or respectful to the referee? Comments please!
“The linesman’s flagged for it and we felt that if he flagged for it then it shouldn’t be given,” McLeish said. “I thought at the time that it should have been given offside. We thought Rooney interfered with the guy who put it in the net.” For full article click here.
