Man Utd win the cup all but for the width of a post, a potentially phychologically scared England penalty taker, no England in Euro 2008 which is now looming……
Can anyone cheer up this blog? May be we could debate how to spell the word begining with “ph” above…..

Didn’t you see how lampard scored, it took 2 deflections and Van Der Sar Slipped. Did you see Cech marvelously saving Carrick and Tevez’s shots? Did you see Terry saving Giggs’s shot?
If yes you should have written, Man Utd didn’t win with a greater scoreline all for the length of Cech’s arm and Terry’s head.
I agree that Chelsea dominated the 2nd half but boy United dominated the 1st half. Chelsea were lucky to score that goal, but I guess paybacks a bitch and just like Van der Sar slipped when lampard scored that goal, Terry slipped when he took the penalty.
It’s not fair that a team had to lose but consifering the whole competition, United more than deserved this trophy!
When i wrote this comment, I tried not to be biased as possible. I donno if i succeded. But with all respect, who cares!

3 posts hit, one including a penalty, United should have scored atleast another three atleast. At the end of the 120 minutes i think it was all square and penalties were a fair way of sorting it out. You can say that Terry missed but Ronaldo also missed (it was saved by Cech), Van Der Sar saved a pen.
John Terry shouldnt have taken the penalty, we all know that he isnt very good at pens so someone else should have taken it- Drogba would have been my choice but the idiot got himself sent off.
I think that we have played better than Chelsea throughout the Champion’s League competition and overall we deserve it. In my opinion we should have been playing Liverpool in the final which would have been a lot better than Chelsea because they play better (not much better but better) football than Chelsea, Chelsea are plain boring.
Anyway, rant over. We won, we deserved it and we will be celebrating for a long time to come.

lol, i cant say whether we would have lost or one but i would have preferred to play Liverpool. I think that it would have been a much better game, not saying that it was a bad game but it would have been better against Liverpool. Arsenal could have also been a good game, personally i just dont like the football that Chelsea play

Has anyone else an opinion on the images? Some have gone missing from this blog, I assume it is the owner somehow blocking them???

lol it did muddle me up, you have to be careful with pictures because most of them are copyrighted and you have to have permission of the person who owns the images.
The only things i can think of is may’be the person who owns them has blocked it or that they need uploading again.

Thanks manuniteddevils I’m a bit worried about the copyright and my blog looking pants if images keep disappearing. I’ve found some free sources of pics which I’ve listed in the “pages” section of the blog (top left).

What you can do is find images that you like and write to the people who own that website and/or blog to see if they own the images. If they do you can ask permission for you to use them, if they give you permission make sure you save the email or print it out. You will be able to use the images and if you have any problems with copyright you have proof.

I’ve sent off a couple of e-mails to website owners - no replies yet
